Gin and Tonic Festival 2018
Taste, swirl and revel in the most exciting, fastest growing spirit category in the world! The Gin & Tonic Festival returns to Cape Town on the 25th February 2018 showcasing over 30 local and international gin distilleries at a venue born to be the spiritual home of the G&T in the Mother City; The Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock.
Some of the country’s best gin producers will be available to sample and taste, to illustrate what makes their tipple so simply irresistible. Previous exhibitors and festival regulars included stalwarts such as Bloedlemoen, Ginifer, Hope on Hopkins, Inverroche, New Harbour and Wilderer. What’s even more exciting is the host of fresh new players in the local market that will fight it out for a spot to showcase their craft to the Cape Town faithful. Previous international regulars included revered brands like The Botanist, Sipsmith, Beefeater, Hendricks, Tanqueray and Elephant Gin, making it the benchmark Gin & Tonic Festival in South Africa.
Gin lovers can look forward to having their taste buds tantalised by artisanal food offerings from the Old Biscuit Mill regulars as well as a host of delicious new food vendors. A selection of the city’s finest food trucks and gourmet street food chefs will serve up gastronomic goodness to festival goers.
In addition, a summer-inspired designer’s market will feature the brightest in locally made fashion, lifestyle and accessory goods. If that's not enough to get your toes tingling, a selection of local artists will soothe and entertain the crowds at our dedicated music stages, setting the mood for a truly memorable experience. Expect a curated bill of live and electronic music.
